Traditional Spaghetti Bolognese

Espaguetis a la Boloñesa Tradicional

Ingredients

Serves 4
    • 400g spaghetti.

    • 500g ground meat (beef and pork mix).

    • 1 chopped onion.

    • 2 carrots, diced.

    • 1 chopped celery stalk.

    • 800g crushed tomatoes.

    • 1 glass red wine.

    • Salt and pepper to taste.

    • Extra virgin olive oil.

    • Fresh basil leaves.

    • Grated Parmesan cheese.

    Preparation:

    1. Sauté the finely chopped onion, carrot, and celery.
    2. Add the meat and brown until golden. Pour in the wine and let the alcohol evaporate.
    3. Stir in the tomatoes and cook over low heat for at least 1 hour.
    4. Serve over al dente pasta with a generous amount of cheese and a basil leaf.
